Edgar Velázquez is a project manager for Real Estate and Community Development. He oversees and manages project design and construction period activities. In addition, Mr. Velázquez is responsible for coordinating project teams composed of architects, lenders and development partners as well as managing relationships with intergovernmental staff, elected officials and community residents.

In 2010 Mr. Velázquez was a recipient of the NCI-Suburban Journals "30 Leaders In Their 30s" Award. He has been a volunteer with Mentor St. Louis and the Cardinal Care Redbird Rookies Program. Mr. Velázquez received a B.A. in Political Science in 1998 and an M.A. in Urban Planning and Public Policy in 2000 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
