Rhonda is currently the Director of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Her career in aviation spans over twenty-five years beginning with Ozark Airlines in 1982. She graduated the same year from the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in German. Although not seeking a career in aviation, her path led her to Ozark Airlines and she moved quickly through the ranks and joined TWA in 1986 when the two airlines merged. Her desire and intrigue with fast pace action, quick decision making and a changing industry led her to stay in the business and pursue the operational side of aviation. She climbed the corporate ladder at TWA, becoming one of the first women in the industry to oversee the airport operations of a legacy carrier. In 1999, Rhonda was promoted to the Vice-President North American Operations for TWA and her span of responsibility included managing 121 airports and 8000 employees, the largest department at TWA. She held this position until the integration of TWA and American was complete. Once completed, she moved to the Managing Director of the St. Louis operation and took on an additional role as the corporate citizenship liaison for American in the St. Louis area. She took on her current role in January 2010.
She lives with her husband and three children in West County and enjoys serving the community through a variety of boards and organizations.
