Roy Bland, ReStore Manager

Roy has been involved as a Sub-Contractor in the painting trade for fifteen years. He is a 1988 graduate of the St. Louis Carpentry School. Roy joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in 1998 as a Deconstruction Associate and was promoted in November 2006 to the position of ReStore Manager.

 

Virginia, Project Development Associate

Virginia joined Habitat in May 2009. She previously worked as a legal assistant in the corporate real estate practice of a large St. Louis law firm, and expects to recieve her Juris Doctor degree from St. Louis University School of Law in May 2010. Virginia's responsibilities include research and investigation of candidate build sites, coordination of real estate acquisitions, and development of build sites and surrounding communities.

 

Stacey Dabney, Accounts Payable Coordinator

Stacey hails from the corporate sector. Before joining Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, Stacey served as an auditor for a Fortune 500 company in the St. Louis area. She applies her training in accounting applications and her experience as an auditor to the accounts payable and receivable functions of Habitat.

 

Rachel D'Souza-Siebert, ReStore Co-Manager

Rachel graduated from Loyola University in Chicago in 2004 and is currently completing a Master's Degree in Public Policy Administration at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Prior to Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, Rachel worked in retail leadership for Gap Inc. Her role as ReStore Co-Manager in the ReStore supports the ReStore mission of providing financial support to the St. Louis affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, recycling otherwise discarded products and allowing people to purchase building materials at substantial savings. She joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louisin July 2008.

 

Connie Goetz, Office Manager

Connie provides direct support to the staff keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. She has an extensive amount of experience in visual merchandising, event planning and office administration. Connie is also a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis with the Family Support Committee and Famly Selection Committee. Connie joined Habitat in June 2006.

 

Avis Laden-Hill, Family Selection and Support Manager

Avis joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in October 2000 as the Family Support Coordinator. Her backgroundis in social services, in which she has ten years of experience. Avis has worked as a social worker for homeless shelters, residential treatment as well as the educational system.

 

Mary Hoffman, Receptionist

Mary brings exceptional people skills and a can-do attitude to her position at the front desk. Mary serves as an ambassador to those seeking information related to our affiliate. Mary also provides support to the administrative staff. Mary joined Habitat in January of 2004.

 

Kyle Hunsberger, Director of Construction

For over two years, Kyle was a full time volunteer with Habitat for Humanity through the Mennonite Volunteer Service Program. When his term expired, he left Habitat to work in the private sector, returning full time to Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in March 2000 as a Site Coordinator. Kyle was promoted to Construction Manager in November 2000.

 

Jean Krammer, Construction Administrator

Jean has been a long time volunteer for Habitat in the office and onsite as part of the Wednesday Crew. She has a degree in engineering and her expertise is in managing projects. She was hired by Habitat in June 2006 as a full-time staff member.

 

William McHugh, Construction Manager

William began with Habitat for Humanity as an ITT Scholarship Student Worker. During his student tenure, he was recruited full-time as an employee of MiTek, a subcontractor of the affiliate. William joined Habitat for Humanity as a full-time staff member in August of 1999.

 

Kimberly McKinney, Chief Executive Officer

Kimberly relocated from Tennessee where she had held marketing/management positions in both the public and private sector. her background is in public relations, training and organizational management. Kimberly joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in December 1997 as the Development Director and was promoted to Executive Director in 1999.

 

Joshua Palacios, Resource Associate

After obtaining a degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Josh has worked in Home Rehabilitation and as a real estate agent for the past three years. He has had some experience working on Habitat for Humanity build sites and enjoys working with people and helping others. As Resource Associate, he is responsible for assisting with sponsor and volunteer relations, construction site volunteer management and administration. Josh joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in September 2007. Josh also enjoys looking good and action movies, like Finding Nemo (just kidding).

 

LaRita Parks, Family Selection & Support Associate

A native of St. Louis, LaRita has 10 years of experience as an office assistant with four of those years in non-profit organizations. Joining Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in May 2000, she brings with her both an enjoyment and knowledge of desktop publishing and organizational proficiency.

 

Shelly Rockett, System Administrator/Data Associate

Shelly has a corporate background, working extensively for 9 years in the IT field for a Fortune 500 department store chain in St. Louis, before joining Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis. Shelly brings her technical skills to assist Habitat in their data processing needs. Shelly joined Habitat in July, 2007.

 

Annie Scharenberg, Communications/Marketing Associate

Annie is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She received her degree in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. She is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Management/Public Administration. Before Habitat for Humanity, Annie worked as a Marketing/Special events intern and consultant. Annie is responsible for general marketing efforts for the affiliate; ReStore marketing, third-party events, managing the Habitat Friends organization and maintaining the website. Annie joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in March 2008.

 

Courtney Simms, Director of Resources

Courtney has spent over 18 years in the banking industry, with her focus being in mortgage lending and community development. She gained much of her development experience in working with the St. Louis non-profit community by serving on various boards of directors in diverse capacities for many years. Courtney joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in June 2001.

 

Dan Cierpiot, Director of Operations

Dan joined Habitat in November of 2008 after serving as Executive Director of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America - St. Louis Chapter.Prior to his work with AAFA, Dan was a practicing attorney and represented clients in various types of corporate and commercial matters. Dan oversees various aspects of our organization, including financial management, real estate development, family support activities, the ReStore and the office support staff.

 

Dana Williams, Financial Manager

Dana has an MBA from Webster University, and is responsible for all of the financial matters for our affiliate. Dana has a diverse accounting background including over 12 years if accounting, finance, and treasury experience. Her professional career includes non-profit, Big 3, public & private sectors. Dana joined Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis in November 2005.

 

Jacinta Witherspoon, Volunteer Services Manager

Jacinta holds the responsibility for scheduling all volunteers and leadership throughout the build and overall recruitment and retention of leadership and volunteers. She joins us with an array of experience in administration, event planning, financial services, community service, retail sales and management. Jacinta joined Habitat for Humanity in April 2006 as the Resource Associate and was promoted in January 2007 to the position of Volunteer Services Manager.
