Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis's service areas includes the City of St. Louis in its entirety, population 396,000, in addition to all of St. Louis County, population 1,009,300. To date, Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis has built or rehabbed over 300 homes.
In the city of St. Louis we have built in:
- College Hill (8 new homes, 1 re-hab)
- The Ville (14 new homes)
- Hamilton Heights (52 new homes)
- Walnut Park (12 new homes, 2 re-habs)
- JeffVanderLou (104 new homes)
- Mark Twain (25 new homes)
- Forest Park Southeast (11 new homes, 1 re-hab)
- Old North St. Louis (17 new homes, plus 12 homes under construction)
In St. Louis County, we have built in;
- Meacham Park (3 new homes)
- Hillsdale (34 new homes)
- Wellston (28 new homes)
- Florissant (1 new home)
All of the neighborhoods that Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis has built in are considered to be 'distressed communities' as well as being located in community development target communities.
