Fall and Winter Builds
MORE BUILDS BRING HILLSDALE THREE ADDITIONAL HABITAT HOMES (AND FAMILIES) FOR 2003!
Habitat was fortunate enough this year to receive sponsor participation sufficient enough to have three additional homes built in the Hillsdale neighborhood after our initial summer build of eleven homes. Thanks to the Habitat first-time sponsor team of UniGroup/Wells Fargo, who partnered with our long-time supporters, the WashU Build campus chapter, Carl and Rachel G. and their children Johnny (14), Irving (9), Jonathan (13), Leisha (9), Jovan (11), and Melanie (7) now are in the process of constructing their new home! Joining them next door-through the generosity of an anonymous donor (the house is titled Haley's Playhouse)-will be Ramona T. and her four children Kimberly (17), Thomas (15), Joseph (12), and Exzell (3). Both of these homes will be dedicated on December 20, 2003.
The third additional home for Hillsdale will actually be completed and dedicated in the spring of 2004. Thanks to the generosity and community dedication of The Mills Corporation, Mary B. and her seven children Terrance (17), DeJuan (13), Dominique (12), Tierra (11), DaVante (10), Terry (6), and Tyree (5) will enjoy working on their home inside St. Louis Mills throughout the winter months and into the spring! After its completion, the home will be moved to Hillsdale and placed on its foundation. Watch our website for more information on the moving date and dedication date.
