Women Build is a special committee which supports the efforts of Habitat for Humanity to eliminate substandard housing. It is a true empowerment program which reaches across boundaries of gender, race, and class.
The worldwide emphasis of Women Build is to concentrate the talents and resources of women who want to contribute to a meaningful change in their community. In this program women provide the funding and volunteer labor for an entire house build—from raising the first wall to landscaping.
Since 1996, Women Build St. Louis has been the proud partners of 15 homes with Habitat for Humanity St. Louis.
Women Build St. Louis, the longest-running Women Build group in the U.S., is vibrant and growing. We invite you to explore the available links to learn more about us.

Art on the Vines Fundraiser - August 28, 2014
Bring a friend and join us at Art on the Vines in Kirkwood on August 28 at 6:30pm to have some fun while raising funds for Women Build's 2014 build sponsorship.
Women Build has reserved the entire space for our group this evening. We will provide snacks and beverages, but you are welcome to bring your favorite munchies and wine with you. You will be set up with a 16x20 canvas (outlined with the picture you are to create), paints & brushes, and an apron. A local award-winning artist will guide you through the painting process while the wine and creativity flow. Tickets to this event are $45 and can be purchased directly on the Art on the Vines website. We look forward to seeing you there!
