The majority of Habitat's construction is performed by volunteers. Skill levels on crews for our annual Women Build house range from DIY divas to absolute newbies ready to learn. We provide lots of guidance and we're confident we can find a task for you. The Women Build house is an especially friendly, no-pressure environment, and our only requirement is that you come with a willing heart and the desire to help make a difference.

Interested in taking on a leadership role?

In an effort to expand the pool of volunteer leaders so we can build even more houses, HFHSL has developed a great training program. The classes are for individuals specifically interested in learning how to LEAD a crew of volunteers on the build site. Read more becoming a Construction Leader.
