Women Build is a special committee which supports the efforts of Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis to eliminate substandard housing. This is done by raising awareness, raising funds, and literally raising walls as Habitat construction volunteers. Women Build St. Louis is a collaborative effort to empower women and effect change in the community. We are the oldest Women Build Group in the U.S. and proud partners on 15 homes with HFHSL since 1996.

Our diverse roster of volunteers includes corporate leaders and trades women, mothers and students, and we're especially proud to be working with a growing number of Habitat homeowners. These are women so empowered by their personal success in the program that even after putting in more than 400 hours of sweat equity on their own homes, they are eager to roll up their sleeves and help another family achieve the dream.
