2008 Individual Volunteer Orientation Schedule

Individual Volunteers MUST attend an Orientation session; you only need to attend one time no matter how many years you volunteer. At orientation you will receive an overview about our affiliate, learn various ways to volunteer—construction and non-construction—and complete an application.

Orientations are held at our Administrative offices, 3763 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis MO 63108. Please park along the street at the meters and NOT in the ReStore parking lot adjacent to the building.

To attend Orientation, please RSVP to mary@habitatstl.org or call her at 314-371-0400. Please be very specific as to what meeting for which you are RSVPing as we have multiple meetings scheduled here at Habitat.

IMPORTANT NOTE: RSVP early as we will close each Orientation registration once it has reached 75 participants. Due to the vast number of individuals who sign up to attend Orientation, it is not feasible for us to email and/or call to confirm your attendance. We rely on YOU to remember to attend!

If you are interested in High School Community Service, please make sure you plan your time to attend one of our Orientations. Students must be in charge of their own community service, not the parents. Email can be accessed at any time of day! Due to the limited opportunities for construction volunteers on Saturdays, community service volunteers need to consider signing up for site support, office help, or volunteering in our ReStore.

Orientation is mandatory for all Individual Volunteers who are not part of a Sponsor or Volunteer group. Group leaders are invited, but not required to attend.

We are not funded by the government or United Way, therefore we always welcome donations.
