The Leading Edge committee was formed to promote interest in volunteers becoming involved as house leaders, crew leaders, task leaders, and site safety observers, and developing a process where this group would become self-sustaining. We hope to accomplish this by developing sub-committees to handle the following:
- Recruiting house leaders, crew leaders, task leaders, & site safety observers
- Coordinating the training of all construction leadership roles
- Supporting the processes that enable crew leaders to become house leaders
- Coordinating the training of home buyer family members in the construction process
- Maintaining the on-line construction manual
- Modifying processes to accommodate future growth of the capacity of the construction process
If this sounds interesting to you, you can read more about the future goals and vision (72k pdf) of Leading Edge Committee. The Leading Edge committee has also created the Best Practices for the Morning Huddle Meeting.
Leading Edge is a great place to use numerous skill sets.
