Weekday Crew volunteers are an integral piece to the Habitat puzzle. Our Weekday Crews consist of volunteers who are dedicated to helping our construction staff stay on schedule. Whether you are an expert or novice, Habitat Weekday Crews are a great place to begin volunteering to learn the Habitat Construction process and develop specialized skills.
Weekday Crews are a great opportunity for those who are retired, anyone who has days off during the week or alternating off days, or those who want to increase or brush up on construction skills.
All three Weekday Crews are essential to our survival. Each of the Weekday Crews can allow potential members to use or learn specialized skills. Potential volunteers need initiative and follow through, work well independently, and be dependable. Tasks range from finishing work from the previous Saturday (i.e. Monday Crew), to helping the construction staff maintain the build schedule (i.e. Wednesday Crew), to getting the construction staff and the site prepared for upcoming build days (i.e. Friday Crew).
To be an active member of any weekday crew, one needs to work at least two days per month. We are actively recruiting for Monday and Friday Crew members.
