If you decide you would like to become involved with Habitat by volunteering on our build site, we ask that you attend Volunteer Orientation.
At orientation we share the history of Habitat and our local affiliate, what some of our goals are, what is the definition of affordable housing, how Habitat supports advocacy, where our donations come from and how we spend our funds. We discuss all of our volunteer opportunities, and have you fill out an application.
Once you have completed your application you will be entered into our database to receive information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities!

*There will be no volunteer orientations in the month of July or December.
You only need to attend orientation one time, no matter how many years you volunteer. Group leaders are invited to attend, to gather information to share with group members, prior to their build day.
All orientations are held at our Administrative Office, 3763 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis MO 63108. Please park along the street at the meters and NOT in the ReStore parking lot adjacent to the building. Please bring change with you in order to feed the meters (when possible Habitat will try to pay for the meters).
Please register via our online system to attend Orientation.
Remember to bring a pen or pencil as you will be asked to fill out an application.
How old do volunteers have to be?
All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. All volunteers will be required to fill out a waiver of liability for each calendar year they volunteer.
