We welcome groups on weekdays and Saturdays throughout the year based on availability and our volunteer needs. We consider a volunteer group to be 8-10 volunteers on one volunteer day. There are many different ways for groups to get involved.
Keystone Community Partner members are some of the closest and most dedicated members of the Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis (HFHSL) family. By taking advantage of the many benefits offered to them, Keystone Community Partners are able to enjoy opportunities such as bringing a group to volunteer on a build site, invitations to special supporter events, and recognition on the HFHSL website and in the annual thank you ad in a local publication.
With an annual gift of $1,200 or more, you, your company, foundation, faith-based or civic organization can also enjoy the many wonderful benefits of membership in the Keystone Community Partnership while demonstrating your belief that making affordable homeownership opportunities available to families of modest means is one of the best investments you can make in the future of our community.
This is a team building opportunity for groups, companies, and organizations. This program is mutually beneficial to Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis (HFHSL) and your place of business because it combines a physical effort on the build site with a financial contribution. For more information or to schedule a presentation, visit the Builders' Club Teams page or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis (HFHSL)’s Build Up program provides NEW, first-time volunteer groups the opportunity to work on the build site while waiving the minimum donation requirement for team builds. The Build Up program provides groups that are interested in volunteering with HFHSL, but may not have the financial resources to join the Keystone Society or become a Buildable Hours or Builders’ Club Team,* the opportunity to experience the rewards of volunteering on an HFHSL build site.
Build Up volunteer dates are limited and may be offered on short notice. Available Build Up team dates can be requested below, if your preferred date is not available, please consider volunteering in the ReStore. Build Up teams are coordinated for build sites as follows:
• Groups of 8-10 volunteers on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays (7:45am- 3:30pm)
Depending on availability, youth groups and civic organizations may have the option of receiving multiple build days as a Build Up Team. To request a build day, please contact email@example.com. You may also request a day in the ReStore.
After your request has been received, you will be assigned a work date (as availability permits) and you can expect additional build information within three weeks of HFHSL receiving your submitted form. If your group is CONFIRMED, we will email you other pertinent information about your workday. If you group workday of choice is NOT available, you will be given alternate dates to choose from if available.
*Although the Build Up program waives the minimum donation requirement for team build days, a financial donation at a level reflecting your organizations means and commitment is requested to help us serve as many families this year as possible. Your generous support ensures that the funds we raise can be spent building homes, building hope, and building Saint Louis.
