Brian Pratt

As Managing Principal at Ballast Commercial Real Estate, LLC, Brian initiates and facilitates impactful real estate projects by applying “best practices” of large-scale real estate to enable neighborhood-scale development as a developer, advisor, and investor.

With prior leadership positions at Green Street Real Estate Ventures, LLC, Deloitte, KPMG, and PGAV Planners, Brian’s career spans nearly every aspect of commercial real estate and urban planning, including project management, market feasibility, entitlements, public-private financing, incentives, design/development, asset management, and real estate business operations. Brian’s experience encompasses a cross-section of project types and sizes representing $500+ million in total commercial real estate valuation and 3,350,000+ square feet across a diversified portfolio of asset classes.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master of Public Administration from St. Louis University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Missouri.

Brian has been an active community volunteer throughout his professional career and currently serves as Chairperson of the Fund Development Committee for Park Central Development Corporation in addition to joining the Habitat for Humanity St. Louis Board in 2022.
