Chauncey Nelson serves as the Director of Real Estate and Community Development at Justine Petersen. In this role, he oversees the full real estate asset lifecycle—from stabilizing and preserving existing properties to executing rehabilitations and new residential construction. Drawing on his background in social science, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, Chauncey bridges the gap between technical real estate development and human impact. His work focuses on transforming real estate investments into drivers of community wealth, creating ecosystems where thoughtful development supports economic stability and builds pathways to intergenerational financial security.
Chauncey holds a Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s degree from Fontbonne University.
