There, he led efforts to improve maternal and infant health outcomes through strategic partnerships with clinical care teams, community-based organizations, and government entities. His work focused on advancing health equity, expanding access to doula care and education, and addressing disparities in vulnerable and historically underserved communities. Jason spearheaded several impactful initiatives, including the development of doula-friendly hospital policies, the launch of a Doula Fund to reduce financial barriers for birthing families, and collaborations that educated clinical care teams on how doulas and clinicians can work together to improve birth outcomes.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Maryville University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Webster University. He also holds a Certificate in Neighborhood Leadership and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). A strong advocate for community empowerment and cross-sector collaboration, Jason has served on planning committees for initiatives such as BJC’s Annual Community Baby Showers and has been a speaker and judge at conferences addressing health disparities and the intersection of health equity and innovation.
