John Phillips

Mr. Phillips is the Chief Lending Officer of Stifel Bank & Trust and Stifel Bank, collectively Stifel Bancorp, Inc. (“SBI”). He has been active in the commercial banking industry for over 30 years and joined SBI in February 2008. Mr. Phillips maintains primary oversight of commercial loans including credit screenings/approvals, monthly reporting to the SBI board of directors, risk management and interfacing with the banks’ regulators. Prior to SBI, Mr. Phillips was an S.V.P. at US Bank for over 12 years where he spent approximately half his tenure as a senior lender in specialty lending focused on franchise, media & telecom and the other half as a senior lender in middle market lending.
