Last year was the inaugural Give STL Day Event, and Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis (HFHSL) was proud to be one of 500 regional non-profits who participated in this very successful event. In 2014, the event raised over $3,000 for HFHSL and $1.1million total for worthy organizations throughout our community.
Give STL Day 2015 will take place on Tuesday, May 5th from 12:00am to 11:59pm. HFHSL joins with almost 800 other non-profits who are taking part in this event…so the competition will be fierce! We need your help to make this year’s event even more successful than last year’s.
What can you do to help?
• Make a donation! Whether you can afford $10 or $10,000, every little bit helps.
• Share our Facebook event with your friends and family on Facebook to encourage them to share their contributions with HFHSL.
• The greatest benefit to HFHSL from Give St. Louis Day is the opportunity to engage more people in our efforts to build a stronger community. Anything you can do to spread the word to help us garner new supporters makes a big difference!
HFHSL is responsible for raising over 95% of our own funding to build and rehab homes in St. Louis City and County. Your participation in Give STL Day goes a long way in helping us in our continuing mission to build a community where everyone has a decent place to live.
