A Waukesha, Wisconsin native, Amy Berg grew up working in the construction industry for her father. She attended the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Berg worked for J. H. Findorff, a Madison, Wisconsin contracting firm before coming to St. Louis to manage the sales and marketing efforts for S. M. Wilson & Co., a St. Louis-based general contracting and construction management firm. In 2012, Berg was named President of the firm.
Throughout her 20 year tenure with S. M. Wilson, Berg has helped grow revenues from $64 million in revenue in 1996, when she joined the firm, to the firm’s current revenue of more than $300 million. She has been instrumental in the development of new business, establishing public relations and marketing strategies, and client retention. As President and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Executive Planning Committee, Berg guides and manages the firm and assists in determining the future direction of the company.
Berg is active in the business community as a board member of the Missouri Growth Association and serves as President-Elect on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis.
